Guard the Beach

Set the stage:

  • Beach map – make a link here
  • Heroes each start within 1 sq of any ‘H’ square
  • Enemies start at a random enemy sq (#1-#6)
    • Note: #6 is ’just off the map, re-roll again next round.

Ready the cast:

  • (G) Gabriel (ally, acts on last hero’s turn)
  • (S) Sailor Skeleton x12
  • (M) Mariner Skeleton x4
    Reinforcements:
  • Each time a skeleton is killed, restart a reinforcement on the east side of the map
    • That reinforcement will have a normal set of actions starting next round
    • Tally +1 for each skeleton that is killed
  • Each time a skeleton exits the board on the west side of the map, place a reinforcement as above
    • That reinforcement will have a normal set of actions starting next round
    • Tally -2 for each skeletons that exit west

Tactics:

  • skeletons will:
    • (1) Charge any visible un-engaged enemies within 8 sq
    • (2) Charge any visible enemies engaged with <3 skeletons within 8 sq
    • (3) Run (run speed = move +2) off the west edge of the map

Action!
After all the actors are on stage, roll initiative.

Cut!
End the scene when (G) Gabriel falls. As a last dying act, he blows the horn to sound the retreat for your area. Put some flavor in italics here.
